How to Perform
- 1
From Dandasana, fold the left leg under so the heel nestles beside the right hip, then place the right foot flat outside the left thigh.
- 2
Cross the left arm around the right knee and thread it under the thigh, reaching the hand toward the right hip.
- 3
Sweep the right arm behind the back, clasping the left wrist or forearm to secure the bind.
- 4
Press down through the sitting bones, inhale to elongate the torso, and exhale to rotate the ribs and gaze over the right shoulder.
- 5
Stay for 5 slow breaths, maintaining the bind, then unwind methodically and repeat on the second side.

- Flushes abdominal organs and stimulates the kidneys, liver, and pancreas.
- Strengthens postural muscles while opening shoulders, chest, and hips.
Alignment Cues
- Pelvis stays level even as torso coils
