How to Perform

  1. 1

Begin in Dvi Pada Viparita Dandasana with hands interlaced behind the head.

  2. 2

Walk both feet toward the head and plant the palms beside the ears, fingers toward the heels.

  3. 3

Lift the head slightly, extend the neck forward, and draw both feet close to the hands.

  4. 4

Grip each ankle with the corresponding hand, pressing feet and elbows firmly into the floor.

  5. 5

Arch the trunk by stretching shoulders and thighs, hold 10–15 seconds, then release the ankles and exit back through headstand or Upward Bow.
